A lockout mode protects against tampering by sounding an alarm and temporarily shutting down the keypad after multiple failed entry attempts.
The Sports Afield SA-PV1S Top Opening Drawer Safe with Electronic Lock comes with a security cable to secure it to a solid surface if it’s not installed in a drawer. Or you can use the predrilled bolt-down holes to anchor your safe to a desired location. Inside is foam-padding to help protect your contents. You can store items such as passports, wallets, keys, extra cash, and even a handgun. If someone does try to break into your safe, there is a tamper indicator. It is also approved by the California Department of Justice for firearm storage.
