The Schlage B562P 619 double cylinder deadbolt is a Grade 2 deadbolt which is part of the Schlage Commercial B-Series Collection. The double cylinder function means that you need a key to unlock both sides. This function allows control over who leaves or enters the premise and forces the use of a key. The finish on this B562P is a satin nickel 619 finish. This can match your existing hardware, or we have 4 other finishes as well.
The bolt on the Schlage B562P 619 commercial grade double cylinder deadbolt is 10% larger than typical bolts you find on most deadbolts for added security. The integrated anti-pry shield behind the latch prevents picking and holds the lock securely in place for easy installation. The thicker metal security strike backup on the jamb side has a third screw inside the cup for deeper anchoring into the door. The solid zinc bolt has a hardened steel pin inside that spins in response to sawing attacks and can’t be cut through.
