Outer Box
The SafeandVaultStore SDBAX-12 doors are made from 1/2″ of solid steel and contains plating on the front that is punch and pry resistant. The hinges are set into the box and provide great pry resistance to the deposit box door.
Key/Lock
The SDBAX-12 comes with three keys. One guard key, and two user keys. Both keys have to be used in order to open the outer door of the safe deposit box. This is done for several different reasons, mainly security. Financial institutions can track user entry into their vaults this way by creating a sign in process with entry. That way if there is an issue with any contents, they can track who was in the vault and at what time.Â
Bond Box
Once opened the bond box is the inside container that houses all the personal items a user wishes to keep protected. These boxes are made from durable sheet metal and finished with an enamel that prevents scratching and rusting.
