The SafeandVaultStore HPD2714 is a front loading depository safe made from solid steel and features a thick 1/2″ door. The HPD2714 takes protecting your deposits and drops seriously. The front loading hopper is wide enough to accept wide envelope deposits and standard bank bags.
The SafeandVaultStore HPD2714 depository safe contains several security features that will protect your deposits from internal employee theft as well as outside theft. The 1/2″ thick door gives this safe a “B” classification for burglar protection. It also has a drill stop hard plate to prevent any drilling attacks made against the lock. Another security feature is the spring loaded re-locker which is triggered by a forced entry attempt or drill attack sealing the door shut. Only a locksmith or safe technician can get into the safe once this happens. Security protection also includes a saw tooth anti-fish baffle which prevents fishing tools from being used to pull money, envelopes and bank bags from the bottom of the safe.
The recessed door frame on the HPD2714 prevents the safe from being easily pried open. It is highly recommended that you bolt this safe to a solid surface (concrete or wood) using the pre-drilled anchor holes. Once you do this, you will have a very secure safe.
