Lagard 700 Series Basic Swing Bolt Lock Kit LGK-BASIC-SW-00-SC
*** A certified locksmith must install all locks, or the warranty may be void.***
The Lagard 700 Series Basic Swing Bolt Lock Kit replaces the LG Basic Digital Lock. If you already have the LG Basic Digital Lock, this lock has the same footprint and will retrofit with no issues. Make sure to determine if your lock uses a swing bolt lock assembly. If your safe has a deadbolt lock assembly or a different type, then this electronic lock will not work. We suggest you contact your safe manufacturer to find out what lock assembly you have before ordering.
Here are some great features of the NEW Lagard 700 Series Basic Swing Bolt Lock Kit. It has a master, manager, and up to 2 user codes. It uses a 6-digit combination that can be changed to your own combination at any time. There is also a dual-mode and silent alarm option for businesses that need these features. The keypad comes in satin chrome. You can also plug in an optional auxiliary power supply instead of running off the 9V battery.
For security purposes and to prevent someone from guessing your combination, there is a wrong try penalty if someone fails to enter the correct code 4 times in a row. The delay is 5 minutes, so no codes can be entered until that penalty is up. If the codes are entered incorrectly two more times after the penalty is up, it will initiate another 5-minute penalty. The battery will give you a low battery warning when it is getting low. We recommend changing it about once a year.
