The Formax FD 8502AF offers a hands-free convenience and features a dedicated AutoFeed Hopper. This allows users to load up to 175 sheets of paper, press start and walk away. There is no more standing in front of the shredder and hand-feeding small stacks of paper one after another.
The AutoFeeder on the Formax FD 8502AF Office Cross-Cut Shredder has a capacity of up to 175 sheets up to 11″ x 17″. You can still use the standard hand-feed hopper which will accommodate up to 24 sheets at a time, with a 16″ wide throat.
The commercial grade features that Formax provides on the FD 8502AF include an easy-to-use LED control panel with load indicator, heat-treated steel blades, a steel cabinet, lifetime guaranteed waste bin, and a powerful AC geared-motor. All of these features together ensure many years of reliable performance and information security in your office. The ECO Mode included will save energy by automatically switching into standby mode after 5 minutes of inactivity.
