With this test, they heat the outside temperature to 1550 degrees F for 30 minutes and then drop it onto concrete rubble from a height of 30 feet. It is then turned upside down and reheated for 30 more minutes. This simulates a real situation that could happen in a fire. Another important rating is the ETL 1/2″ fire rating for digital media. It is also water resistant if water is from a sprinkler system or fire hose.
