The SafeandVaultStore depository safe FLH271414K with its 27 inch extra wide body, allows for large amount of storage space as well as extra room for drops. Our 27″ wide depository safe with dual key access is a popular and functional design. It works well for most retail locations and we have it competitively priced it to allow everyone to keep their drops secure during the day. This safe comes standard with a dual key lock on the door, not the combination lock as shown in the picture. This allows for additional security because of the need for two keys to access the door.

This “B” rated depository safe with a large front drop hopper has a large 4 1/4″ x 9″ x 5″ capacity drop which allows for those unusual sized drops such as rolled coins, lottery tickets and personal items. The construction design of the front load hopper prevents fishing of dropped items.

It’s solid “L” handle allows this “B” rated depository with a large front drop hopper and its 1/2″ outer door to open easily and without difficulty. We have also included 4 anchoring holes (hardware not included) on the bottom for additional security. We recommend that ALL safes be anchored for the best security possible.

We have also added to our 27″ wide depository safe with dual key access two additional security features. An auto-detent & relocking device on the main door. This means that the bolts remain withdrawn while the door in open (saving costly repairs to realign the bolts). The relocking device allows the three massive horizontal bolts to engage when the door is closed. The door, on the hinge side, has a full length “dead” bar or anti-pry bar that makes prying the door open on the hinge side very difficult.

Our 27″ wide depository safe with dual key access also has what is called B-rate construction. This means that the body is 1/4″ plate steel with the door being a solid 1/2″ thick. While this safe is built with security in mind, we do not recommend storing large amounts of cash or other negotiable items overnight in the safe.
